Burning, Mystery and other Short Films, video

The subject matter of these films is emblematic of tensions found in various domestic domains. The rough original Super 8 format is a readily workable video process in which to construct a montage of what are essentially moving photographs. Action, subject, and location of events encourage conceptual interpretation of disparate elements. Non-linear structure directs the viewer to search for parallels between segments without a narrative progression.
