Yarka Vendrinska

"Heart of Concern," photography

Yarka Vendrinska photographed "people often overlooked," the aged, the homeless and the sick. A truly concerned photographer, she sought out her subjects with care. Her style was simple, yet elegant, based equally on content and composition. She liked connecting with her subjects, who responded in kind. In them, she managed to find great humanity, which she portrayed in her images. This exhibition includes work from various projects, here and abroad. All proceeds from sales will benefit the Yarka Vendrinska Memorial Fund.
