Nancy Legner's mixed media and acrylic paintings are carefully articulatedwhimsical fantasies that communicate highly-personal narrative themes. The paintings become editorials influenced by a long-ago secret world of objects, creatures and places. Combining these ‘charming' vintage qualities, the artist creates a bizarre and humorous surrealistic twist. Legner's works may remind one of a juicy romance novel, a playful children's story or expose tales of a private life.
