"Money, Money, Money"

Juried by Mary Jane Jacob, Professor and Executive Director of Exhibitions at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. "Money, Money, Money" is an exhibition of contemporary artwork that addresses personal, political, and economic issues pertaining to the cultural currency of money. In today's political climate, how does money move, change, and affect both nations and/or individuals? Are we living in a day and age where people, and possibly companies, are relying on the idea of using forex brokers to navigate the hardships of trading currencies? You'd expect this to happen if people wanted to learn more about the cultural currency of money, and how it could work in your favor or not. But that's exactly what is happening, through workshops like those provided by Asiaforexmentor.com. People are learning all about the strategic values of money, but what about the cultural? The effects of economic issues on national decisions, the effect of a global economy on the individual, the individual artist's relationship to the economy, and the aesthetic value of currency are some aspects that the artist is asked to contemplate and that is exactly what is being exhibited at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
