I Give Up (IGU) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization supporting projects that provide sustainable relief and help people to help themselves. Our mission is to provide aid to those suffering from poverty in the areas of greatest need around the world by finding, researching and supporting projects through regional and local volunteers.The Gates Project—Objects as Symbols. Early in 2006, objects or symbols of individual challenges were donated to us. Artists could then chose objects to incorporate into an artwork or donate existing work. The GATES Project is a national fundraiser. Proceeds from the Art Auction will support several projects in Africa that provide solutions to help people help themselves.
